    Topic 1:Shopping

    Do you like shopping?

Yes, shopping is my cup of tea, from physical stores to online shopping. There is a grocery store just around the corner/ which is about walking distance from my house which opens 24/7 where I’d like to spend my time there.

How often do you go shopping?

More often than not. I’m such a shopaholic so I’m always pushing the boat out/ throw money out of window even though I’m not deep pocket.

What kind of shops are there in the area where you live?

I’m currently living in Melbourne - the heart of the economy, culture and politics. There are tons of stores ranging from the most fancy to the rustic ones for people from all walks of life.

What’s the worst thing about shopping?

Staying in line to pay the bill is my night mare/ pet hate. It is such a waste of time and annoying. Sometimes, other people just interrupt the line which bothers me so much.

    Topic 2: Animals

    Do you like animals?

I’m such an animal lover, a catholic to be specific. I have 1000 pictures of cats on my cellphone.

(dog lovers, loyal creatures, and keep company when we have bottlenecks).

What types of animals do people keep as pets in your country?

In the past, people in my country used to raise dogs, cats, birds, and fish as their pets. Nowadays, people are interested in wild animals such as snakes or lizards as their domestic pets.

How do most people feel about animals in your country?

It depends on people’s perspectives. Some people considered their pets as protectors to protect their property. While some think of animals as their friends to share their sorrow and mirth. They can not speak but they absolutely understand their owners.

What are animals used for in your country?

In my country, animals, in general, are considered as food for the meat industry. Domestic to wild animals are thought to be served as food on the table. Although it’s illegal to consume wild animals, people still utilize them no matter what.
