  Do you often celebrate festivals in your country?

  Yes, people in my country are in high spirits when any festival seasons come into being. [Crack IELTS with Rob] They often push the boat out to celebrate these events.

   

  What do people usually do during festivals?

  During festivals, people often throw parties/ make merry with slap-up meals. Besides, they usually do the cleaning to chase away bad luck.

   

  What is your favorite festival?

  Well, I suppose I’m keen on the New Year holiday, the so-called  New Year festival because there is a family get-together. [Crack IELTS with Rob] It is also an occasion for the off-springs to express their remembrance to their ancestor.

   

  Do you think festivals are important?

  Do you often meet new people?

  Yes, I meet people from all walks of life because I’m such an extrovert man. [Crack IELTS with Rob] I always initiate talking to strangers I’m not familiar with.

   

  In your country, where can you meet new people?

  Well, public places such as school, working place, club and shopping mall are spots where hordes of people flock to. Therefore, we can easily bump into strangers there.

   

  How easy is it to meet new people?

  Running into strangers via social networks is like a piece of cake. [Crack IELTS with Rob] Due to the Internet booming, people find it easy to meet like-minded people.

   

  Is it possible to meet people from other countries where you live?

  Yes, Melbourne is not only a political, cultural center but also a renowned tourist destination that attracts thousands of foreign visitors as well as overseas workforce.
