The map below is of the town of Canterbury. A new school (S) is planned for the area. The map shows two possible sites for the school.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

IELTS Writing Task 1 (Academic Module)
The given map illustrates the two possible locations of the new school which is planned in the town of Canterbury. Overall, the first proposal for a new school is located in the countryside area, while the second one is situated in the Town Centre.
In particular, the two possible sites for school are located nearby the main roads. The second site for the school is 7km to Chartham town with 4,500 dwellers as going along the main road to the Southwest of the town. Meanwhile, moving to the Northeast, the first one is closer to Sturry town where there are 70,000 inhabitants and 5km far away from the town centre of Canterbury.
Besides, there is a university situated in the area mixed between countryside and housing zones. Both proposed plans for the school have same distance to the university. The traffic-free zone is located in the Canterbury centre which interrupted the continuity of the main road.
