IELTS SPEAKING PART 2
Well, today I would like to tell you about a place that I recently visited is Myanmar.
I went there last summer with my beloved friends. Myanmar is located in the South East Asia, in the neighborhood of some others like Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Vietnam. It is admitted that Myanmar is rustic and traditional compared to the modern world. It is only dotted with shopping malls and fast-food chains emerging in recent years.
However, Myanmar is reputable for its ancient city named Bagan, with more than 3000 temples, dating back to the 11th century. Visitors love to see the sacred Buddhist temple – Shwedagon Pagoda.
There are a couple of reasons that I’m really into this place:
First and foremost, it keeps the originality of the cultures in the course of globalization.
Beside/ more importantly, Myanmar is an affordable destination for most Asian tourists, as somewhere else like France or Australia is not pocket-friendly.
From all the above-mentioned reasons, when it comes to an interesting place that I’m really keen on, Myanmar always pops up in my mind.
