    Topic 1: Weather

    What’s the weather like where you live?

    Well, my country is a tropical monsoon country. There are four distinct seasons: spring, summer, fall and winter. Summer is breaking out in sweat. Winter is freezing cold. [Crack IELTS with Rob]

     

    What do you do when the weather is bad?

    When it’s raining cats and dogs, I just want to stay at home to relax with catchy songs and blockbuster films.

     

    What type of weather do you like best?

    I’m really into winter atmosphere because I can show off my fashion taste and enjoy hotspot and grilled food.

     

    Would you like to have that type of weather all year around?

    Honestly, I’m not really keen on that kind of weather all year because it sounds monotonous to me. [Crack IELTS with Rob] Not to mention, it’s such an inconvenience for household chores.

     

    Topic 2: Friend

    How much time do you spend with your friends?

    Well, I tend to stroll around/hang out with friends at the weekends because they are pretty on the go during weekdays.

     

    What do you usually do with your friends?

    I’m really keen on going to the cinemas to watch the latest blockbusters and catching up on gossips.

     

    Do you prefer to spend time with your family or friends?

    I would rather spend time with my family to prepare lunch or dinner to tighten my family’s bond. [Crack IELTS with Rob] However, friends play an indispensable role in my life.

     

    Is friendship important to you?

    Yes, absolutely yes, friends play a crucial role on our life. They can make me burst into tear of happiness and I can rely on them whenever I come across the bottlenecks in life.
