IELTS SPEAKING PART 1
Topic 1: Family
Tell me about your family?
My family is a typical nuclear family with my parents, my little sister, and me.
What kind of things do you and your family do together?
My family is really into preparing, having meals, and going on vacations together. This could be an optimal way to release stress and tighten the family bond.
Who does the housework in your family?
I’m the only child in my household, so the responsibility to do chores falls on my shoulder. I think it could be a great way for me to relax after a day of hard-working.
Would you prefer to have a larger or smaller family?
I would rather have a big family, as a saying goes “the more the merrier”. But, less personal space for letting my hair down when I get home might happen to me. Because different people have different lifestyles and they need more room for their own things.
Topic 2: Routines
What time do you usually get up in the morning?
More often than not, it’s around 6:30 am, which is when my alarm goes off.
Are your weekday and weekend routines different?
Yes, I’m engrossed in working/ studying during the week, whereas doing nothing to forget about the daily grind on the weekends.
What’s your favorite time of the day?
I take joy in the evenings because, at that time of the day, I can put my burden down temporarily and unwind.
What’s the worst part of the day for you?
I must say it’s the morning, because I’m not a morning bird, and I can never get into the swing of working hard early in the day.
