IELTS SPEAKING PART 2
Well, today I would like to tell you a photo that is hashtag dressgate – a black and blue bodycon dress that freaked people out on the Internet in Feb 2015.
It all started on Tumblr – a well-known social network site but it went viral. [Crack IELTS with Rob] The Internet lost its composure since every single online newspaper and magazine mentioned it. It was a photo of a blue dress with black lace details. It couldn’t be a matter if a majority of people saw it as white and gold and got confused.
I can’t say for sure, why this picture was captured, but I know that it was an unforgettable Internet viral phenomenon in 2015.
There are a couple of reasons why I’m really impressed with it: [Crack IELTS with Rob]
- First and foremost, the whole internet was blown away just because of a usual and harmless dress.
- Besides, there are numerous researchers conducted by various scientists but seems like the answer wasn’t too persuasive/ convincing/ plausible.
- Interestingly, humans are always considered themselves as the most intelligent creature on Earth but can’t give a precise and accurate answer for such a dress. [Crack IELTS with Rob]
From all the above-mentioned reasons, when it comes to a photo, the hashtag dressgate always pops up in my mind.
