Nowadays, people are greatly concerned about exercising with the obsession with looking fit. [Crack IELTS with Rob] Along with such a trend, there have appeared numerous/ immeasurable gyms. While there are obvious benefits to working out inside elegant gyms, many believe that it makes more sense to exercise outside.
On the one hand, many people seem to be proud of the attention they can attract while breaking out in a sweat at their local gym. Whether they are lifting weights or running on a treadmill. It is likely that everyone is watching them with admiration, which gives them the feeling of standing in the limelight.
However, not everybody finds the idea of being the centre of attention attractive. [Crack IELTS with Rob] One obvious benefit of exercising outdoors is that one can jog along the riverside or do sit-ups in the park by oneself, almost free of being disrupted by people around. Therefore, doing workouts outside is a more solitary activity.
Exercising outside also brings about another benefit. While a fitness centre provides a variety of training equipment, it certainly lacks of fresh air. Whether one is doing an intensive exercise such as running or weightlifting or doing a relaxing one like practicing yoga, intakes of oxygen are indispensable. Fresh air, without doubt, is easily found in the open air.
From my own perspective, although both ways of exercising have their own advantages, I for one will be sticking to early morning jog.
