The pie charts compare 5 percentages of people using social media in 3 years from 2011 to 2013. Overall, there were some changes in the rates of all channels, while the rate of Facebook decreased, the others increased over the time period.
In particular, in 2011, Facebook was the most popular social network as it accounted for the largest proportion of the pie chart, at 59%. Coming in the second preferable at 21% of the total survey was Twitter. This was followed by Linkedln which made up 10%. Google and Pinterest shared the same proportion, each with 5% of the total users.
In 2 years later, users of Facebook reduced to 49% in 2012 and to 38% in 2013, but it still remained the most favorite social media. In contrast, Twitter and Linkedln, they increased slightly to 25% and 15% in 2013 respectively. Likewise, the users of Google+ and Pinterest also grew to 14% and 8% in 2013 respectively, and they were still less popular than the others.
