    Topic: Borrowing something

    Will borrowing things make people uncomfortable?

    Well, it depends. Some people are generous, they are willing to lend others own things and feel happy helping others. [Crack IELTS with Rob]  Meanwhile, some people are mean and selfish and they feel disturbed/ annoyed/ irritated when somebody borrows them something. In this case, this even damages the relationship.

     

    What would you do if you don’t want to lend something to others?

    Well, personally, I would reply/ answer frankly/ straightly that I dislike lending my properties to others. I really appreciate the famous quotation in Shakspear’s renowned play that goes “lending money, we lose both the friend and the sum”.

     

    Why do people dislike lending valuable items?

    Well, the simple reason is that people are afraid of others’ losing and damaging their valuable items. [Crack IELTS with Rob]  Moreover, to some people, certain objects play an indispensable role in their mind so they cannot lend these.

     

    What would you do if your friends didn’t give back what they borrowed from you?

    Well, in this case, I would insist on that friend’s returning the borrowed objects. If they do not, I would ask for help from connected friends and relatives. If those are some stuffy things, I would give up and that relationship would definitely be over.

     

    What do people in your country usually borrow?

    Well, people in my country often borrow each other the daily items such as food, stationeries, clothes, helmets, etc,…however,  the most common is money. [Crack IELTS with Rob]  This is may even damage the relationship when the borrower does not return.

    Why do old people forget about things easily?

    Well, people are always forgetting things is the proof of ageing, which is an inevitable stage of life. [Crack IELTS with Rob]  This may happen early or late to some people, at the age of 60 or 70 plus, even some lead to diseases such as insomnia.

     

    What are the tips for keeping things in mind?

    Well, the most common way is repeating the needed actions in mind until they are done. Besides, people often have some notebooks or set some alarm devices in their smart-phone to be reminded.

     

    What kinds of things people can do to prevent poor memory?

    Well, it is acknowledged that there are some certain foods that can help store a good memory, for example, fish. [Crack IELTS with Rob] Besides, frequent physical exercise can help us practice our overall fitness.

     

    How can technology help people improve memory?

    Well, every device, even the simplest, has got the function of reminding users of needed actions. Besides, we can set everything in our e-calendar to know our expected activities and things we put on the agenda.

     

    Do you think memory is important for language learning?

    It can be said that language – learning required learners to have a good memory, ranging from vocabulary learning to grammar learning. [Crack IELTS with Rob] Hence, it is also claimed that the process of language helps people have better memory capacity.

     

    What kinds of jobs require good memory?

    Well, there are certain jobs in society that require the doers to have a good memory, for example, teacher, doctor, and lawyer. Even, some who do routines with manual labor need to have a good memory capacity to avoid inaccuracy.
