    Why do some people like shopping and others do not?

    Some people are keen on/ show interest in shopping because they don’t mind shuffling around shops after shops and browse the things on sale. They enjoy window-shopping, try on clothes and see what new arrival items are. However, some go out on a limb (travel in the opposite direction). They feel shopping is exhausted and like throwing money out of window.

     

    What kind of people dislike shopping?

    There are some people who don’t have money to burn. They will be unlikely to enjoy shopping. Furthermore, people who are always on the go don’t like the idea of shopping. Home delivery is better because they can buy without the bother and fuss of standing in line to pay the bill.

     

    What kinds of places are there for shopping in your neighborhood?

    I’m currently living in your city’s name, a metropolis of your country, so there are a lot of shopping places. First, street stalls which usually specialized in one certain product such as mobile phone, car and stationery. Besides, we have local markets where we can buy fresh foods but we also need to keep our wits because it is easy to get cheated by stall owners.

     

    Compare big shops such as supermarket with local store?

    There are several disparities between chains of supermarkets and small stores. Big shops offer a wide variety of products so we don’t have to go from place to place to complete our shopping. However, the price cots an arm and a leg. On the other hand, small stores have a convivial atmosphere because shopkeepers can recognize us as patrons.

     

    What type of advertisements do you know?

    Nowadays, advertising becomes mainstream. They are commercials on TV, posters on the sides of the buses, leaflets handed out in the street, and hidden ads in the music videos. These adverts utilize bright colors and images of celebrities.

     

    What is the most common form of advertising?

    Honestly, commercials shown on TV are mainstream. It is not difficult to be confronted with an advert when we turn on the TV and gradually these adverts stick in our heads. The advertisements appear in primitive and during breaks of reality shows and films.

     

    What influence does advertising have on consumer?

    Advertising exerts both positive and negative impacts on customers. In terms of benefits, they are informative so customers can keep themselves updated with the latest trends and products. However, they may certain unwelcomed information which disturbs people’s live.
